# Themes

Themes are assigned to one of the following three categories:

**Archetype**

A theme is an archetype if at least 1 card mentions the archetype within quotes in its card text. All cards that have the archetype in their names are automatically part of the archetype.

**Series**

A series is a group of cards that are not (yet) an archetype. A series is created when at least 3 cards...

* belong together based on their names OR
* share a common pattern OR
* support one specific card.

**Other**

The third group are cards that follow a specific strategy or are typically linked by a character in the anime/manga.
